I've read a few of your responses and you are a troll. If you had the money some of us have you'd be the first one at the dealership buying a pro :jerkoff:

Same here but I did let them think I was financing thru them so I could work and deal the right price

Hmmm, that is not a bad approach at all. Personally I get a loan since I make more money from my money than what I pay in interest for a loan, but obviously we all have different income levels and concerns.

Luckily I didn't have to finagle with the sales desk. I purchased from my old Toyota dealership I sold at for 4 yrs. I already had the number.

    Invoice minus the rebate +500

I didn't have to do the +500 but I make a habit of doing this after knowing what its like to work a deal as a salesman and get a 100 flat. Its bullshit.
So I paid the commission straight to my salesman.

I did not state that anywhere. WTF? For example, if you're making 2000 a month, and are paying a $866 car loan a month. That is irresponsible financially speaking. Again, I'm not saying you're doing this. I'm not claiming I know your financial situation. These are just examples....

Let me ask you, why are you taking everything so literal and personal?

You can... but i dont think showing up to Medical supply company is gonna do you any good.. :notsure:
I no longer work for Toyota. But I can hook up anyone in the Utah area with a comparable deal as long as they are willing to throw thier salesman a 100 bucks under the table.

I went down to St.George to Wade Toyota lower tax rate and Large Volume dealership and got lucky to get a Excellent salesman who not only wanted to but could work a good deal without fooling with the "manager"

Thats the guy you want to look for. Avoid the greenies lingering out on the steps waiting for an up. And go straight to the seasoned old bastard with two phones up to his ears selling like hell.

You assume I am taking it personal, but to quote you, "people do make irresponsible financial decisions". And I said...well, you know what I said

That is what I accidentally found this guy is one on the number one Toyota Tacoma Sellers there and he came in on his day off to do the deal with me did not hand me off to someone else and when I dealt with him I used the same terms they use so he knew that I understood or thought that I understood all of the sales jargon (I don't) but 45% of it I do so he went very level with me and skipped the add on's for the extra 100 here and there like the anti thief protection package and more got me to $2100 under MSRP and worked the ACV for my trade in to the max nothing hidden So I would go back to him anytime.

Thats the difference between new guys and seasoned salesmen.
Seasoned guys know Its not the Front end gross that makes the big bucks when you start selling 20+ a month. Its goal bonuses and spiffs for volume. Not commissions

Gonna keep them until I retire. One stock that has killed for me is ABT(Abbott). Still through all of this downfall, I am still at 27% ROI. Check it out. And good dividends.

Oh no I'm not taking it personal just stating what I have seen way too many times and seeing the impact on them that their wrong decisions have made nothing to do with anyone here but I have had the pleasure <---- if you want to call it that to ride on several Repo actions with the guy I know and seeing first hand the guy who has a 45K or 50K car or what ever get the Repo done because they can't make payments and you see where they live and realize they are way in over their Heads but how the hell did they get the load in the first place?

Everyone here is so worried about getting the best deal or making the most "responsible decision", you'd think tacomaworld is the Slack channel for my company's finance department. The TRD OFF ROAD Tacoma is not the most utilitarian truck out there so most of you chose to pay a premium for superfluous features and then further attempted to make your OFF ROAD more like a PRO by spending money on PRO parts--OEM or otherwise.

Why are the Premium and Technology packages and a slew of appearance mods acceptable but getting the TRD PRO is somehow a bad financial decision? I can assure you the hours some people here spend making their trucks look like TRD PRO and begging for a scoop hood more than surpass the differential cost, at least in terms of the value of MY time.
