It's only temporary. Need the diff out to try and figure out my locker issues. And turbo oil pan will be going in soon.

    New shoes!
I only had to trim a little plastic... more probably to follow when I get them dirty for the first time.
Also, My 92 pickup got some hand-me downs.

Cooper Discoverer S/T Maxx LT255/85/R16 on new to me steelies.

    Thank you cruiserguy.
I first saw it on Freeflight7's Tacoma. He helped me out a lot with a tire size and rim recommendation.

It ratchets more than it locks. Visually everything looks OK with the locker though.

3.4 TB/WP and stuff... 2nd one I've done... Took covers off and it was half'a tooth off from TDC. Lucky Me20181218_130624.jpg

Then... I remembered the A/C compressor has to be unbolted so you can get it's bracket out in order to get the tensioner out. That was the least fun one.

Here's my homemade crank pulley hold'er tool... They turned out so clean I might do a build thread on how to make your tool out of your bed & stairs & stuff.... Ha j/k, I'm just resourceful, and.. cheap metal does still have a purpose right?
    20181218_155145.jpg

This was reassembly, righty tighty... it was a lil tricky making sure they were both on the corners and wouldn't slide off of the frame. It worked to 215 ft pnds. They were reversed during removal.

Oh and... Here's what it looks like when your timing belt is bout to break. 160k miles on it.

Ordered it in July. Got called that it was ready for installation in October. Finally made it down to Santee, CA to get my Aluminess rear bumper with dual swing outs with 3 jerry can box installed.

No idea why the last picture is potato-quality

Locking panel on the top of the bumper will allow more space for...whatever stuff I finally decide to put in it. Build quality is nice and solid. Welds are smooth and pretty when compared to those done by some drunken monkey on my CBI front bumper.

An interesting design. Those swingout hinges look pretty light duty. How is the spare mounted to the bumper frame?

Saturday morning I went out to wash up the wheels before working on it, this spotted hawk was out hunting tiny dinosaurs...

    20181209_122939.jpg

I told my boss.. A bird said to me, "don't wash it or wrench on it, it's bout to rain dumbass!"

Then the bird said "Tuesday is Taco Day... Call out of work Tuesday"

The bird was right... It rained Sat.

And today was perfect wrenching weather

Update, installed a master power switch.
I connected my rock lights to it today it took 15 minutes. Most of my time installing lights is switches, where to put them then wiring. Now it is just ground wire at the light and run a oower wire. I ran an extra wire so the next set of lights will be alot faster. Blank no power to panel, white power to panel, blue accessorie on.

The master is a heavy duty toggle switch.
