You’re welcome anytime James. For you, I will wave the beer / beer money requirement.

I still have to tub, redo the twin sticks, finish the flatbed, figure out the fuel filler, put the new Steeda Supercharger idler on, swap out the supercharger nose coupler, and the Dana 60 isn’t even built yet.

Next two weekends are out due to holiday stuff.

So, not anytime soon. Couple of months at least I’d say.

Im not sure what you plan on doing with the fuel filler but maybe just a piece of sheet metal cut into a square with a hole in the center to kind of mount it how it was originally mounted to the bedside? Im not sure if you have any ideas yet.

I do have an idea. I don’t want it sticking out to the side for obvious reasons.

I’m going to put it here.

My plan is to keep the deck flat from here back.

    6A515A83-6DE0-4A7D-80AC-EBE3E8830A07.jpg

Then recess these two front squares to strap fuel jugs down or whatever.

No room for a fuel cell. And I already have a perfectly functioning fuel tank that works with the EVAP system.

    Looks cool though.

LOL! I mainly posted that to show you how the filler neck is mounted. Running a hose would be beneficial as well to allow for flexibility.

Right. I’m familiar with remote fills. I looked into them back when I was putting my old auxiliary fuel tank setup together.

You have to remember that it’s not only the fill that would need to be changed. It’s also the vent tube and the EVAP tube.

It just works out that where I want to put the fill requires no modification to any of these. Only the bracket that mounts the filler setup to the frame.

I do like how they bent flat stock around to hold the filler neck.

I wouldn’t have thought of that. I may steal that one.

Makes sense! Just make sure you test fit a fuel nozzle in there before you finalize it. Just to make sure they can fit in there. :)

Not me but I’ve got some Yakima racks laying around that I’d be willing to sell. Or, if you wanted to get some Thule racks, I can get them as well.
