Remember Texas is flat... lots of hills to go up on freeways here

Unless you're on I-70 going to the mountains, not really. I-25 from the springs up to Fort Collins is pretty flat, except for around Castle Rock to RidgeGate. 225 is pretty flat. I-70 from the east through Denver is pretty flat. E/C-470 can get hilly in some sections but not that bad. I can get 19mpg from the springs to Arapahoe Rd in my 3.4 1st gen with 285's on pure highway driving and I don't even drive to conserve fuel.

We're talking about freeway driving. I find it very hard to believe that I-70 west of Denver gets more traffic than all of I-25, I-225, C-470, E-470, I-70 east of Denver, I-270, and I-76 gets combined.

Whatever. All I'm trying to say is don't make it seem like you have to be hard on the throttle to make it up all these "hills" on the freeway when that's not the case. I saw an increase in fuel economy by going to bigger tires on the freeways here because, if you drive smart and are just steady on the throttle to maintain a constant state of speed instead of constantly accelerating, the extra distance the tire travels per rotation actually kinda helps. I saw a decrease in fuel economy in the stop and go city traffic, as to be expected.

Obviously this is all anecdotal. Take it as you will.

Soooo... I'll probably get about the same MPG I am now as with those tires?

When I picked up my sliders from Hefty we got talking about the 3rd gen Tacoma tube bumper and he admitted it wasn't a big seller for them nor had they promoted it much. They are working on a redesigned for it currently, TBA.

interesting, like Noah said, I'm not a huge fan but if it came out looking similar to the T4R version I would likely buy. I also like the Mobtown concept that is set to release early 2019

Looks like you got that decimal point in the wrong place accidentally.
