I felt the same way, but I recently was left with a 3/8s ratchet, no cheater bar and couldn't break the lugs. I left me realizing that if I was to be off-road and have a tire issue I wouldn't be able to change it out easily. I haven't had an issue with spline drive, but had an issue with the locking lug. I don't want to buy new lugs again, but I also want to be able to change a tire easily. Running into issues when you already have a flat is a good way to really lose your shit. At least me anyhow. I don't know why they just can't make a wheel with a little larger opening for lugs.

I don't want it for theft deterent, I just want to be able to change my wheel or tire easily. Spline just allows use of a regular socket, and for me a 1/2" drive instead of 3/8".

Daniel if you do that would be great. I'd even give you a couple bucks for it. How did your hunting season go? I got a little 8 in archery and a doe the last Saturday of Rifle. Still have a couple tags to fill with the smokepole.

I just prefer using thin wall sockets to spline. I've seen much higher failure rate on spline sockets compared to the thin wall. Also I'm spoiled because I carry a milwaukee 18v impact wrench with me everywhere.

Definitely a purchase I will make when I get my bumpers and sliders and actually start wheeling on a regular basis.
