nice rig. I wish i had a truck like this with stock suspension but with SCS of course. My 33s make me drive my 4 cylinder more often than my taco due to gas

Yes, light rubbing. not bad though. It's the worse when backing out of a parking spot

Well I bought Kings on black Friday so it wont be stock height for long.

don’t mean to derail the thread but I’m in a similar predicament. I wanted 16” Ray 10s but I don’t want gray. Can’t decide if I should go 17” or wait until the 16”s come in and run spacers in the meantime. I’m getting an Icon Stage 8 lift for Christmas. Ill likely run 285 ko2s. What do you guys think? Does the extra inch make much difference off-road? Does anyone know the weight difference off hand?

Looks are subjective. Objectively, no SCS wheels are not worth 2x of RRWs considering there is nothing special about them aside from good marketing hype, niche marketing and good customer service. But if they look better to you, and you are okay with spending the money then whatever, it's your money.

    - ICON UCAs, BP51/Kings, SCS wheels, 285s, Leer 100XR canopy. Greenlane aluminum winch bumper, Smittybilt X20 winch. Trying Falken AT3w now, Really like BF KO2s.
The KO2s in 17 inch 285 C load are around 51 lbs according to BFs website, 17s give you a few more tire choices

Happy with my RRW wheels!!! Nice clean wheels and after hitting trails hard for 10 miles a month ago still holding strong.

That’s unusual. Sounds like your wheels need alignment and adjustment.

I just picked up some brand new 16" tires for my stock OR wheels because the fine folks at SCS aren't meeting their demand, which is why I'll need the 16" version if I manage to find them any time soon.

Really like the stance on your setup! What lift if any do you have under it and are those 16's or 17's with what size tire?

Not my truck. You can look back through the silver tacomas thread to find the actual owner. It was a couple of months ago he posted the photo. I just grabbed it because it’s a good example of a build I’ll start next year.

I think he is on a 3” lift with 285’s.

There's actually a guy up in NJ selling five of them, brand new, but a) I don't want or need five of them, and b) it's too far to drive when he's charging near full price at $200 per wheel.

I'm pretty much convinced that these wheels may never happen for me since SCS can't seem to meet demand with any sort of consistency.

Check out my build thread (Beginning of Money Pit)
SCS is my opinion if it matters.
