    Is that a 5.5?

I used to ride a Mach 6 and that was a mini DH rig. It felt like that bike lived in mid-stroke travel. On the plus side it cruised through rock gardens and hairy situations

Yeah it’s the 5.5 I absolutely love that thing. It’s a great all mountain bike. Climbs like a billy goat and descends like you wouldn’t believe.

Picked up my Daughters bike today, 2019 Specialized Riprock 24. She’s going to be pumped to be able to ride with Dad!

Thanks! I almost went with the 20, but she’s on a 20 now and before this next year is over she’d be too big for it.

The first fat bike ever for me is still a bit of a budget build, but there are some cool parts. I was easily convinced that a Paul stem would look good with the Thomson seatpost for some winter style.

I dig your set up. Kind of kicking myself for going the route that I did with rack/tonneau. Wish I'd gone with the Undercover Ridgelander, which was my first instinct, so that I could carry a bike and box exactly like you have, and still have a covered bed.

Thanks. Works really well. I can actually fit two up there, with the box in the middle. I also have a Dr. Tray for the back.
Long trips with no offload: the hitch is great (better mileage, easier to load). Shorter trips, or need the clearance: bikes on the bed. Trips with friends: 4 bikes secured, dry storage in the box, dirty shit in the bed.
We also ski/ride a bunch so having the box is a must.

Same here (snowboard and mtb). Also have the Dr. Tray, which is great, but I'm a slave to the back up camera, and it obscures the camera more than it does in my other car. It also triggers the sensors, which it does not in my other car. It's my first truck, and I wanted to have full access to the bed when needed, so I got a Bakflip. In my first 6 weeks of ownership the only thing I've needed the full bed for was a Christmas tree, and now I'm having trouble picturing when I'll need it again before next Christmas. Oh well, live and learn. I also have the Front Loaders, so maybe I can find a cross bar system that will mount under the bakflip, since the factory rails were moved down. Then I could use the FL with the bakflip folded up, though I'd lose vis out the rear window.

Yeah, I can't see anything out the back with the box on there. But the side mirrors are just fine, unless someone's riding my ass. In which case I don't really care.
Have you tried moving the trays so they don't obstruct your view? I mean, with the bikes on it makes no difference, but with the rack folded up I can see pretty well using the camera. I just slid the upper tray so that it's not in the way as much.

Haven't tried moving the trays yet, but am going to fiddle with it tomorrow. I'm actually hoping if I move the lower tray up a little it will get it out of the way of the sensor.
