Oh I agree!! That’s why I think I’ll wait till a Stock HU comes out for the taco with ACP. Gonna be expensive though, but I want it all to blend in.

I don’t think there’s gonna be an upgrade option for current Tacomas.....there are a few other threads on here about it. Apparently the software built into our trucks can’t handle the upgrade.

So it’s either aftermarket or get a new truck

That’s why I started looking at that. If they do a new unit I don’t think the form will be the same so for a true wireless option I need to go aftermarket and for a wired option on the stock HU this is the only option I have seen.

Not sure where the $400.00 price tag came from, but the website lists them at 600,000 Korean Won which is equivalent to US $536.40 at today's exchange rate.

Plus this site only gives a 14 day return from date of purchase, so if it doesn't work, don't plan on getting a refund because it will likely take at least 14 days to get here from Korea and they say it can take up to 5 days to ship once order is received.

Just my advice on this product.

Invoice from the email is 402. So directly from them, not sure why it’s different then if you convert. your right Lots of risk on this one, that’s the main reason I am asking people for any experience. Not sure if I want to be the test monkey or not. To be honest the point out above of no ios 12 has put me off. A pioneer aftermarket would be the best option and keep most of the functionality with a maestro. Wireless car play and all the good stuff but I can’t find a dash kit that looks okay. So I might decide to try this or just stay stock unless a different option pops up. My brother spent some time in Korea so I was going to ask if he has any friends in Seoul who have used their gear for a reputation check. We will see.

    lmao agreed totally.

I just did a full audio upgrade and couldn't bring myself to go with an aftermarket head unit because dash kits look budget. Ended up with a DSP instead and kept the factory head unit

I was really hoping the 19 Tacoma’s would come with apple car play as a lot of other 19 Toyota/Lexus vehicles are coming with it. It’s really disappointing that they decided not to add it. But I ordered my 19 TRD O/R anyways... LOL if this ends up being a good option I will definitely buy it.

    Hey man,
No I haven’t. I Have put it off right now with work getting a bit crazy. I might look at it again later but the warranty is not going to be any good. They did update the until so it doesn’t have to have a activation switch everytime you want to use it. My plan is to wait until they have a US site and shipping as the invoice system is a PITA. I also might end up going aftermarket eventually as I really prefer the idea of wireless car play but that would take me finding a good solution for the dash as the kits are terrible looking.

How about we all pitch in $20 for someone to buy it, if it all checks out, that someone gives us $10 out of the $20 back. If it doesn't check out, they will return it and deal with the process then give us our money back. That way the person who initially buys it gets it around 50% off, and the others only have to front $10 to see if its legit or not.

The only thing that bothering me is the unit require AUX wire to connect with the phone. And as you know iPhone 8 or above has no AUX line, and I might need to get a big dongle to plug that in with the lighting cable with AUX.......

Actually, I think it needs aux from the unit to the headunit. If you look at the diagrams on their site it's just the regular connection from the phone and everything else should be behind the scenes.

It is but you have to change your audio over. However the new version they are making now has a physical button so it doesn’t have to be reset everytime you start the car.
