easiest way to fit 33x12.50x16?

hey guys i was wondering which way i can go to get a 33x12.50 on my truck. would the 5100's with a rear add a leaf work? thanks

 

RCD, Procomp, or Fabtech basic kit would be the easiest! The best ride, the most suspension travel, and the least fender cutting.

 

what about the cheapest? i dont really need much travel. most of my offroading is in the sand. i just want the truck to sit a little higher and look good.

Well, I guess the travel essentially stays the same. But the useable travel is better. Because a 3" lift added to your stock suspension, is basically like going hiking in heels. You will loose down travel. (I know not a good example but you get the idea)

 

here is mine with 5100's @ 2.5 and a toytec aal in rear with 285/75/16

 

Actually that's what I told the guy at 4WP! They really don't know much about these trucks.

 

No! Actually the suspension stays the same. The UCA's will allow easier movement, but the stiffer/longer coils is why you loose the useable travel.

The DB lifts will keep the LCA's at the mid point. So up travel and down travel stays optimum.

As far as UCA's go I have issues with the designs out there. but that's a different topic.

sorry. i had a s10 before this and i had 15s. im just use to saying 33x12.50x15. i was looking at ome or the 5100 set up. they both seem to have good reviews. just when i research it seems like everyone is running something slightly different.

 

go with the 33x11.5 with a 5.5 backspacing...the 33x12.5 are going to rub real bad!! and the 11.5 looks awesome...they will stick out of the wells about 1/2 inch.

 

the most flexing i have to do is over ruts in sand. maybe some mud and trails during hunting season but not a whole lot. the 5.5 backspace would be better then 4.5? i was looking at xd hoss wheels with 4.5.
