I'm paying 45.5 +TTL for a stock 19 Pro (no desert air), just predator steps, mudflaps and roof rack. You're paying $1500 less than me and I thought I had a good deal so for the 18 I think that's fair. Most of the 19's in the area here start at $46.5+

I paid $1000 below invoice (which was about $3000 below sticker), got what I wanted on my trade, and took advantage of 2.9% financing. I felt the price was fair, but than I let myself get clowned by over paying for the extended warranty.
One area I forgot to do my homework in. :annoyed:

You can cancel it. They will probably apply it to the principal of the loan

That's a beauty of a truck, enjoy it! You didn't do all that badly on the warranty. I bought my truck the Saturday of black Friday and they started out at $2400 for the same warranty but said "We're running a black Friday sale and for this weekend only it's $1700". I said no, no, no, and I think they gave up and moved on when they got to $1500.

What Jim said- it is cancellable but they won't give you the money in a refund. They'll apply it to the loan.

I understand people want the peace of mind of a warranty, but my experience with Toyotas told me to not get a warranty. Me and my immediate family had all at one time- 3 Rav4s and an FJ- One traded after 17 years and 200K miles, one still going at 17 yrs, another still going at 13 yrs, and one traded in (FJ) after 10 years. If I had any troubles, like a starter on one, an alternator on another, etc, the trouble was well after the vehicle had 100K miles.

Finally got my baby! TRD Sport 4x4 Double Cab Long Bed with Premium/Tech, Black Package, Floor Mats and Mudguards. 42,230 MSRP, purchased for 37,850 including the 500 cash back. She's purty. I picked her up 500 miles from home...had a hell of a time finding the exact truck I wanted, but i'm glad I waited. I bought from Brita at Freeman Toyota in Santa Rosa...she was incredibly nice. BTW, I also got hosed on my extended warranty...I was trying to get out of there to get on the road home and said yes to an overpriced warranty. I'm gonna cancel it and we'll see how the first couple years go before I consider buying it again. Also, I was so nervous about shifting issues, etc.... I absolutely love the way it drives and feels. Super stoked!

I swear by the warranty. I used it on my 05 just before it expired. Paid for itself and then some. With the electronics in these new models and the 4x4 actuator inside the transfer case and having problems in these trucks I say keep that warranty. Its insurance. You hope you dont need it but if you do then you are covered. Also with the warranty you get a loaner car for the life of the warranty and roadside assistance . As well as some other perks

I wanted the warranty too. I have one on my wife's Rav4 for 84 mo/125k. I just looked at that contract and it cost $1300 in 2015.

Although I probably over paid for the Warranty, I did save a $1000 in taxes. I just moved to AZ from CA and bought the truck here. AZ deducts your trade in from the price (along with 41 other States) and only charges you sale tax on that amount. CA (and 6 other states) would have charged me the Sales tax on the original price regardless of trade in deduction.

Something to think about if you're going to buy during a move.

$35,470. Extras include the Tech package, Carpet Floor mats, and Mudguards. Sticker was $38,657. So I guess Invoice was $36,470.

They said something about tinted windows, but I thought that was standard on these?

So. This is a "classic" case in point of why these numbers we are all talking about are so screwy.

I have the same exact truck (minus the mud guards and weather mats in lieu of carpet mats). I paid $33,950 before TLL. That seems like a $1500 difference. BUT, and this is a big BUT, you got 2.9% while I got 3.69% financing and I had an 822 credit score. I put $10,000 down and financed $27,000 and change. Lets imagine you did about the same. Over the course of the loan, that's $600 that you are paying LESS to Toyota (using Toyota financing). That $1500 savings I supposed got over you just dropped to $900. Next, we don't know what they gave you for your trade in... You could have easily made that up or even exceeded the savings of my deal depending on your trade in. Not to mention warranties, document fees... etc... I may have gotten hammered on those things.

See how these numbers are screwy?

Additionally, tinted windows are standard on the 2019 ORs.

I think the windows are darkened but offer very little in heat transfer protection. If they did indeed tint the windows for you, there should be some sort of warranty card. I had mine done at a local shop (ceramic) and it came with a lifetime warranty.
