So ... you bought a product that is custom designed for a truck you don't own, then want to complain about them not fitting. Got it.

Yep, my bad. Except that I didn't -want- to complain. Just thought I'd lament my situation and offer up to others that the DCLB and the ACLB have different gussets on the frame rails. My only defense is that many other products that differentiate between SB and LB, "LB" usually fits the ACLB. This one didn't, but I couldn't see that until I got it. I'll make it work and still support RRW. Also, just for you & FactsOnly; the order form said "Long Bed Tacoma" = I do own that truck.

 

I agree that RRW’s website/order form leaves “long bed” very ambiguous. They should have something on there to clear this up.

 

I just looked at the website and agree that it says "LONG BED MODELS ONLY". This would lead the average consumer to believe it would fit. I am glad TartanEagle posted about his troubles!! A friend who would be in the same situation is waiting on mine to arrive. He had hoped that if they were quality he could order a set for his truck. This post saved him a wait and wasted money.

Im number 14 in this batch and just received an email saying they "hope" to have them shipped out by the end of the week. We will see. I leave on a wheeling trip the 28th so I hope to get them in time.

 

@RayRRW is local pickup an option? If my number is ready to ship im willing to pick up in person depending where it currently is if all they're doing is "waiting to be shipped"

 

I had asked that and was told no because "we prefer to ship them since we are having our sliders shipped right out of our manufacture"

 

Well that's not cool knowing there's still another 14 ready, paid-for sliders waiting to ship. Another 2 weeks

 

So.........got my sliders today!!! Order number 1730, placed I believe on September 20 (original 2 week lead time if I remember correctly!). They look great, except for one small scuff/slice in the powder coat on the underside. I accepted the delivery and will just put a bit of paint on the spot.
There is a light at the end of the tunnel for you guys, it's just that the tunnel is a bit longer than expected!!
I'll hopefully install between Christmas and New Years.

 

That’s good news man. I’m not holding out any hope for getting mine on time. I’m very unimpressed with the entire operation.

We have 20 sets of sliders going out tomorrow. We had to pick these from our manufacture to our warehouse because our manufacture is moving locations so they were unable to ship it out of their facility.

Mine has almost identical dates but destination was Florida. They called me today to schedule delivery tomorrow.
