I get the #70 rebound from the fox chart.
How did you know the 2,1 is .015 on the compression? I can’t find that anywhere...

 

I've spent a fair amount of the past year or more learning about suspension and shocks. I figured it out somewhere along the way.

 

When it starts saying 2/1 3/2/1 something like that is always .015” i hardly see .020”

That's the one i'm about to use lol. Pulling off wheels and glass in a few minutes, figured I might as well clearance for 35s while I'm there . Gonna get some sealant and just slather around everything crumpled just for shits in giggles. Especially on the cab.

 

Welp, guess i'm slathering the shit out of my LCA bolts with loctite as opposed to a dot. Found my lower bolt to the adapter loose, and the bolts I replaced a few months ago have burred threads near the top. Yay. That's just from daily driving as well, haven't seen dirt in quite a while.

 

Actually you might be right, looking at my frame and how far in i have the 2.5s mounted I may not have enough room, I have 2 fingers of space from the frame to the shock body but only like 1.5 from the resi to the frame... guess ima have to do some more measurements lol.

Anybody know if the TC LCA bushings are the same as the Camburg LCA bushings, and would I need the race or non race type? I'm gonna have to cut out my old cam bolts, they are super seized and stripped so I figure I might as well replace the bushings while I'm tearing the LCA out.

 

They are different. TC uses a bushing, camburg uses uniball in their lower arms

 

Well, that's good news and bad news. I won't have to replace bushings, but I might have to replace Uniballs in there. Sigh.

 

Thats what I did. and do every run or so. tire keeps rubbing it off. lol

 

I literally just finished doing mine lol looks like I cut about the same out and had to cut a bunch of the core support out too lol...its cute when people still have inner fenders lol
