What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Well I posted in the “silver color thread” already but figured I post here too haha because I’ve already installed my K&N intake and bed cover and bed extended.

But anyway I traded in my 2017 blazing blue for this 2019 MT TRD in silver Tuesday evening. No real regrets only that I miss that pearl blue a bit.

In California, each truck is considered a commercial vehicle and a weight tax is imposed each time you renew the license (on top other fees they charge you here).
Having a camper shell (must be permanently attached to the truck and set up for "living") you can change the body type to "PM" for Permanently Mounted" (from PK - Pickup), and vehicle type to "Automobile" (from Commercial), and get rid of the Truck Tax.

You just need to keep the cap on, all the time, which is no problem in my case.

I believe Colorado has something similar.

 

it saves me $80 each year here.
Some will say "not worth the trouble", but when your registration fees are in high $500's/year already - anything off helps

Are your mud flaps stock?? I looked at a couple of brands but they stick way out and I like yours because they just look neat
