    My apologies, Yes....the Drivers Side.
I was multitasking at work. I’m someone who doesn’t do that well. I should know better. Just came across your thread and thought I would chime in as I had the same problem about 3 years back and replaced the needle bearing with the ECGS fix.

Yes, also do the seal while you are there And make sure you use the gear oil as per their recommendations.

So I've always used Amsoil severe gear 75w-90. That's what's generally recommended. I should go heavier per ECGS?

    Stuff is THICK!

Will this be an issue with sub-freezing winter temps here in Maine?

You can use the same stuff in 80 90 as per the website.

The most important thing is to use the Lucas brand/type as it has additives so The fluid doesnt foam thus reducing lubrication to the bushing.

My dealership (on the advice of my Tech) is going to install the ECGS bushing (I bought) under the front Diff warranty.

Yes. There are two(seals) depending on what you take apart. Every time I have to replace a cv axle, I replace both seals.

    Excellent!
Just give the tech the 8” ECGS Bushing & drop the truck off. You’re good to go. I’d use the Lucus gear oil & weight ECGS recommends.

I left my truck with them overnight with them one night this week. The tech took it for a drive first thing in the morning and heard/felt it. It's not terribly loud, but it's obvious. It stopped immediately when he put it in 4WD.
