i just tried building a 3rd gen OR, I don't see it? its standard with 4x4, is there a 4x4 delete option? This is ubserd to hear of....

I could maybe understand a TRD sport possibly, but how does a TRD OR exist in 2wd??????

The build site only shows whats in your region currently. Change the zipcode and see what happens. There are a few on the road in Northern Louisiana.

 

Sport comes in 2wd and 4x4, but yeah 2x4 off road doesn't make any sense

 

A person who knows how to drive will take a 2WD OR farther offroad than the majority of people on this forum will get with their 4wd. The huge majority of Tacoma owners will never go beyond a dirt road anyway.

 

That's me, still got the 4x4 for bad weather and snow though!

4WD won’t keep you from ending up in a ditch, just get you out if the wheels are pointing down. I’ve taken a 1987 Ford Escort places where Jeeps had trouble making it because I slowed down and drove deliberately. It was a one-drive-wheel wonder POS.

Skill, discipline, and good tires can do wonders.
