So Max, first drone for little man for Christmas. Actually his second one because the one last year was a pos and you couldn't stop the drift on it. Thinking either a DJI Tello or go for the gusto for him with a DJI Spark?

I use a GoPro Session in the factory mount and keep it wired. You have to start and stop it manually and delete the SD manually when full but it works and is reliable.
Caught the deer hit and another random accident on it that I wasn’t involved in.

How old is your son again? Depends on if he's into the photo stuff too. All of those products are coming along well these days. There's more players that have great offerings outside the more common known brands.

 

I mean could it still have decent picture looking through the shells tinted rear window. I would want to keep it inside the cab

11, I'm just tired of buying shit for prices that could have been put towards something reliable. He'd be into the pics and video on one.

 

I wish I had a GoPro for when I was kayaking/fishing the Concord River in Chelmsford/ Billerica MA and had a really nice pike on. Man that was fun

 

I usually keep a couple mounts in my glove box in case I want to pop it out and shoot some 4K video.
The new Hero 7 Black’s video quality is unreal.
