That's the right way to go about it. Don't get out of the car with an attitude that makes you look like somebody that can be walked all over. It's unlikely that'd I'd be forced to do so but if you hit my cars I'm getting out of the thing looking like I'm ready to drop your ass to the concrete at any moment.

Because someone who wasn’t paying attention and was on her phone rear ended me?

Fuck that noise, you're gonna get me at my worst if your texting and makeup application causes damage to my vehicle. I'll invent new words to make your ass feel like less than dirt. I don't give a flying shit how many sorries you say or how much fault you admit, I'm still calling the cops so I have something to submit to my insurance as well. If you don't have a license or insurance (as many don't) I still don't care, I especially need the police report then so insurance will cover me. Still young and my blood pressure is typically very low as I'm a calm dude.

Nope, like I said. I probably have the lowest BP of anyone. This is one thing that gets to me, I drive in AZ and regularly have to dodge people texting, applying makeup, fapping, swerving drunkenly... These things can be life threatening as well as property damaging. I have zero tolerance especially for the drunks and texters. You're gonna remember not to fuck around while driving if you ever have the misfortune to get an earful from me after a crash.

Sounds like it's better to drive through the desert then the roads. Worse thing you can experience there is you sink in the soft sand.

I think its safe to say this would depend on circumstances. Just not wise to approach a driver who is under a great deal of stress.

Might be wiser to be calm 1st then unleash the verbal hounds of hell.

It really is, AZ is the most depressing state I've been in for more than a few reasons. I swear the average IQ here is less than broccoli. Everyone is texting while driving, many are uninsured and too poor to afford it anyway, lots of traffic is perpetual. I passed a gal texting with her phone in the middle of the wheel while making a left through a stop light. I honked and watched as she damn near shat herself cause she was crossing over into my lane and going like 10mph slower than anyone else.

Oh for sure, I have no desire to get physical with anyone, I probably won't even raise my voice. You'd be surprised what you can say with the dissapointed parent voice. It's just another reason I want out of this state so bad, no one is paying attention to driving. I drive by t-bones, rollovers, fender benders where the fender has replaced the rear seats everyday on my commute. It's outta hand. I haven't gone a day in recent history without seeing a wreck on the side of the road, some days I actually see it happen.

The last three times you've been rear ended? Haven't you only been driving for a couple years? You sure your brake lights work?

    Fair point

Reminds me of my mom...love her to death but man, that woman has had several minor car accidents in a 5 year or so stretch, all deemed not her fault...but after the 3rd or 4th one I told her that you gotta realize that maybe you're not being a very good defensive driver, lol. 90% of people on the road don't know wtf they're doing, you have to drive with that in mind or fall victim to them.

I think it's part of getting older or whatever, but when I drive now I feel like I'm constantly checking every mirror and side view. Just to make sure I don't have to avoid someone who doesn't see me. I've saved my vehicle and others who were about to hit me more than a few times this year by merging to the shoulder when they didn't notice traffic was stopping. It's the whole reason I put that third light flasher in too. Just to make people notice
