just saw the NorCal Jobs Thread and didn’t see a SoCal Jobs, unless I was searching wrong??

Anyways Let’s start one up for LA,SD etc if that’s okay ?!?!

I’m currently employed but I wouldn’t mind checking out other options

Right now I work with School Technologies and install, Service & program Smart Boards in San Diego School District and in LA as well. Kids these days don’t have Chalk boards anymore. The now have an 85” Led tv touch screen Panel which works exactly like a big IPad or tablet and the Teachers and students can mirror/airplay image or video and there’s also a Digital Chalk boards with all the features for every Subject etc.

I have All Low Voltage certs...Prewire, install, trim, trouble shoot, program, service experience. I also have dabbled for 15 years in the Home Theater/Audio Video too. Doing custom Theaters with “Yuge” Screens and expensive Projectors. I even can do 1st level Electrician work on top. I was union for about 3yrs and haven’t been back

I’ll post if we ever need help or I’ll also check out what everyone is posting up

    Thanx and Happy Holidays !!

How would one go about learning how to do what you do? I also work for a district near LA, but not in tech. It seems much more hands on and interesting to me. Thank you so much!

There's cheap welding classes at LAUSD adult schools ~$70-100 a month both day and evening classes. I took one near the end of the last school year next to Huntington Park High School. You can do certification training as well as all around skills improvement work with the regular class curriculum.

Best way to learn anything computer related is to just tinker around with them and go from there. I don't even work in IT but I still have my CCNA.

Doesn't that expire after 10 years or so? I had my MCSE for a long time and I'm sure that has expired by now.

Every 3 but I go out of my way to keep it. I've almost been lured back into the field, but I manage to stay away from it lol.
