Also, I hate cannon. Keypad went out, hour and a half on the phone with them explaining my model of keypad and safe, they order me a new keypad for free.

Got the package yesterday after their horrifically slow shipping. Aaaannnd ITS THE WRONG DAMN KEYPAD

 

Yep once I get a new keypad (bought one on my own) I’m gonna start saving to buy a new champion and sell my cannon

 

This may have been mentioned somewhere around here before, but the Holosun laser devices (specifically the LS221) are not compatible with tape switches for ATPIAL devices (i.e. Surefire SR07-D-IT). Very disappointed that I'm having to run 2 tape switches, but it is what it is.

The Key pad that you received is the newer model, we don’t send out securam key pads.

Probably what you saw was that the screws are un a different position from the old securam.



I will attach a PDF file, that will show how to install the new key pad.

Normally has pre-drilled holes on the door.



If your problem is that the door doesn’t open, you will need a locksmith to get it opened.

The locksmith will need to call us to help him with the drill point of the lock.”

 

So, as a new-to-internet-ordered-ammo person [I'm in CA], I'm wondering which sites you guys prefer (probably based on generally low prices, or good/frequent sale prices).
I've sent my FFL&COE documents to a few online vendors already, but would like to spread them out to more potential places for me to order from.

Based on the PPR on AmmoSeek and GunDeals I've already contacted:

I like Target Sports USA, depending how much you shoot their member program pays for itself, at least for me. They have free shipping for full cases. Ammunition to go is good too!

 

WTF? Did the new pad that you purchased work?

 

Nope.

Apparently I have to pay a locksmith 375 to open the safe and install the new mechanism because they don’t carry the old one.

 

SG ammo gets lots of stuff I like.

 

That is horrible, I always wish I went with the mechanical lock instead of the electronic. So far I have not had any issues.

 

I contacted SG Ammo via their website form, and offered to attach my documents for them to keep on file, but got this in response:

"Sorry i no longer do business in CA. I wish I could help, we had a lot of great clients in CA and I miss their business, however it would pretty much take a major restructuring of this business to take on doing business in CA and I am just not in a place where I can do that"​

It's unfortunate, but I know there are lots of other options out there.

 

That's a real shame.
