Now I know another reason to come to work early. Left the house a little after 0700. Stopped, grabbed a dozen donuts for the office for the meeting, stopped for gas and all was well. Within 3 miles of surface street and freeway I almost got into 3 crashes and 2 fights. People running red lights, failure to yields, on the phone in the turn lane to the freeway on-ramp, got cut off. I do not see how these people make it through the day without getting hurt or killed just by their own stupidity and or ignorance. If it wasn't for others watching out for their own safety and welfare it would be one big burning pile of vehicles.

If I would say something like that to regular employee I would get a fee trip to the HR office. Bunch of :censored::censored: cry babies.
But, I have spoke my mind to engineers. I start by saying, " I'm going to say something, your not going to like it, but I'm going to say it anyway." I do try to be respectful.

When you spend more time with coworkers than your wife you learn to work with others. Working with a crew can be hard at times. The thing that I found out was that even if I wasn't working with someone now, things change and I maybe working with that person a year from now.
11 more years and the only person that has to put up with me is the wife. Move over dogs.

Exactly. 24" pusher. 18" standard keep on the deck. And the new mother of all shovels. 20" combination pusher and standard.

Almost got one of those 18" bent handle things but had one before. Snow gets too deep and you have to lift it even higher to throw it. And the bends are weak and break, only lasted me a couple of storms.

For gawds sakes I've become a snow shovel connoisseur, what the hell happened here...
