Icon/TC Mid travel, TRD S/C, PNP Greddy EMU, 625cc injectors, 2.2 pulley, Hayden tranny cooler, AEM wideband, TRD boost gauge.
Order placed with the new seller! Saw that the original seller raised the price but looks like the supplier is selling to other vendors. A little afraid as u usually get what u pay for- they already had a cast issue, and things like not using UV resistant treatment could cause horrible aging, but we will see...

Man they really move these things fast from overseas, that's impressive. I got mine so quickly I thought for sure that it might've been a return that was already here in the states but it looks like they're just really efficient in shipping these things.

Someone mentioned something about how these thing might age in sunny areas. It's got me wondering if there is something I can cost this thing with before install that might help minimize uv rays from fading it over time.
    You guys got any suggestions?

Something like this maybe, a UV protectant spray (the UV resistant clear one)

Yup, just paint it. You could take this as an opportunity to paint it another color too...like plaid.
    https://noogatoday.6amcity.com/the-diy-designer-how-to-paint-a-plaid-pattern/

I considered painting my skid plates plaid until I got lazy.

I used to paint my skid plates but they get so beat up and scratched that I don't bother anymore, unless there's a lot of exposed steel showing to prevent rust

Same here...when I got them I carefully cleaned them, primered them, painted them and they looked great. Afer a while I'd clean them and roll on some rustoleum. Now, if I do anything at all, I just roll on rustoleum over the dirt. I figure the dirt will be like adobe and made them stronger.

Funny how it ships from Malaysia and goes to Alaska's hub but both Malaysia and Alaska are excluded from shipping. o_O

I should’ve bought it Monday. Second option went from $97.xx to $129.00 in two days. Dammit.

I doubt that’ll be the last increase.

Landed in Alaska, realized they left the snorkel in Japan so they flew back.

It states that it only fits the 3.4l...I wouldn't buy it for a 2.7l unless you're willing to customize it to make it work. I don't think your airbox/air intake is in the same location as ours is.

The only thing that needs to be modified is the rubber hose in the fender. You might have to extend it is all. So you could just cut it in half and add some straight pipe to lengthen it. Not as scary as the actual cut into the fender that's for sure.
