    Yeah.
Really? Did you actually read the thread? I think you need to reread and watch who you attack, I have in no way bashed on the OP and am actually interested in trying something like this myself. I just stated some actual facts about how the Fox shocks work and what the position of that spacer does -- but as far as I know, Fox hasn't provided any drawing or specs. I never said the OP is incorrect in what he has observed. But assuming that means the damping characteristics are unchanged is incorrect -- that is a fact, whether you can understand it or not. Would it even be noticeable? To some, maybe, but probably not to most.

People in here need to chill out.

True, but a coil is a coil. I don't know enough about it to make any "educated" argument, but a coil breaking due to a spacer lift would certainly give me pause. I also don't believe it was a coincidence due to a bad coil.

A little helpful info you here. Tacoma’s have STRUTS up front and SHOCKS in the rear.

@StockerLocker18, I get what you mean. Don't like how the Pro is $50,000, yet has weak Good Year tires, and not much height difference from the other trims.

I love how throughout a thread the price of a pro goes higher and higher.

Can't speak for the PRO, but on the Off-Road, they shouldn't have come with "Kevlar" Highway tires. A much more aggressive A/T tire should have been included. Save that crap for the Sport.

My 265/75/16 Duratrac's made a world of difference.

What the Pro actually needs to make it worth the money is a supercharger. Tires would be nice too but it needs to be substantial for the price tag.

So why did you buy a pro if you are changing the wheels, tires and suspension?

Tires shouldn't count. I think everyone can agree with that

    That's market adjustment for ya.

Have you ever been out to dinner and order a crabcake or lobster after someone else ordered the same thing? Yours will cost more than the previous entre that was ordered.

If the TRD Pro came from Toyota looking like the OPs truck, I would have gotten a 2WD Chevy Colorado.

I too wonder why people change out the suspension, when you paid $10k more than the Pro over the Off-Road. But ya, Toyota's tire choice is horrible...

Looks good! Did you have rubbing before lifting it in the final part of the process?
