Aftermarket will be better and probably less or about the same as the TRD in price.

It's true, hah. I know a bunch of FFX guys who commute in from the Frederick MD area, PA and pretty much a sprawl of Virginia.

Don't want to get too far out though, but the 24x10 thing should be way more manageable.

So, back to important topics like beer and a Taco takeover...

Thinking Friday December 28th or Saturday December 29th
    or
Friday January 4th or Saturday January 5th

Potential takeover location = Port City Brewery in Alexandria
(lots of parking, pretty good beer, food trucks on Saturdays)

What are you looking for? Apartment? Townhouse? House on 10 acres?

Personally I wouldn’t commit to anything until you know where you’re working. The closer the better. I know it wouldn’t be a typical 9-5 schedule but still that 45 minute commute from Alexandria to Warrenton can easily become 2 hours at the wrong time of day.

Oh, and definitely avoid MD. :D

Thule is a Swedish company, they tend to find something that works and not mess with it.

Either an apartment or townhouse for starters, a house is an eventual goal but I need to get more grounded first.

I'm getting ready to do an exhaust with a borla muffler. Gonna piece it together first to see what it sounds like. Don't want it to be as loud as my Magnaflow was. If it is, I may weld in a shorty, straight thru muffler prior to the borla.

Yep! That's what most of the people do at my wife's station... I'd say roughly half live in either the Front Royal/Winchester area or Culpepper down to the Charlottesville area. The perk of 24/48. It's love/hate for her.. loves the days off when not busy with school but hates the school days when she was on shift the night before running the mean streets of Manassas...
