At that price you should have bought all FOUR. I just bought my Sport the OR fenders and I took advantage of the black Friday sale. Was able to get 10% off and free shipping not much but enough to be aware of for next year.

    Thanks.

I live in Cali- so I used Toyota of Marin. Be careful. I've run across dealer parts department and a Toyota dealer's 'e-store'. The e-store is where I got the biggest discount. Their black friday / Cyber Monday sale was 10% parts with free shipping ("FREESHIP" Promo code). My suggestion is place this link in your favorites and check in every once and awhile. As it is the price for their parts are somewhat reasonable for OEM parts as opposed to the Parts department at your local Toyota dealer (unless you know the parts guy and you get a discount).
I have also noticed that there are more 'e-stores' out there, so you might find an e-store near you for local pick-up and not pay any shipping costs.

    Hope this helps.

Yes- I did receive the fenders and I'm installing them this weekend. Fenders were as advertised and was happy with the transaction. Have to say being a newb to Tacomas I had to figure out the parts number(s) game. For example, there are different part numbers for fender flares (labeled wheel wells) for painted and unpainted- which led to some confusion. I'm at work right now but I will post the parts number(s) with pics on the fenders I received. Mind you - I have a TRD Sport and was looking for the OR black fenders to replace my painted fenders with.

Im in southern kentucky. Will trade my 2018 super white fender flares for a set of black fender flares. I hate the color matched flares. Ha

Interesting enough - I sought out a custom auto shop to get a quote for wrapping the fenders in black with vinyl to make it appear the fenders were OR. The estimate I got was near the price for new OR fenders from the 'e-store'. Goes to show that people will take advantage of you if you don't slow down and research your purchasing. This forum has provided a vast array of information that can give you at the very least a starting point toward an educated purchase.

    Part number: (Rear) 75873-04900
    75874-04090 new number is 75874-4900
    (Front) 75872-04900
    75871-04900

A little on part number 75874-04090 now known as 75874-4900. IF you can still find a parts department with Flares that have the old part number (04090) you may find them at a cheaper price. The price difference was about $60 bucks. Too, the front fenders should cost less than the rear flares for whatever reason.

    Hope this helps.

Thanks for posting the part numbers! I just ordered some from a local dealer to replace my color matched cement fender flares. Those part numbers made it easy to order online and not have to listen the parts guy tell me they couldn’t provide what I wanted. Hopefully they work perfectly!

Did you happen to have any issues with the clips or padding on the back when you switched them out?

    YES!
Expect to break some clips. It just happens. I was pretty careful and I still broke about 33% of the clips. The Amazon Clips work just fine so buy those as opposed to the $3.80 (per clip) Parts department price.

I too have a Cement and yanked off my colored cement flairs and was wondering if it was possible to sand down the painted flairs to the original black finish? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Did you order through an e-store or just your local dealer?

I just ordered through a local dealer’s e-store. They didn’t require the VIN so unless I’m misunderstanding something they should be delivering black fender flares.

Yea- I was a little worried myself when ordering. They should work out.
I did order a new bumper valance and entered my VIN and got an email saying the part number was incorrect because on my truck that part is painted. Having not entered the VIN you should be good.

Has anyone tried to sand-off the paint on their fender flairs? Cost?

Don't forget to get new 3M Exterior attachment tape. Many of hours were spent by me, in the dark of night, removing the old factory adhesive that was on the old fenders. Installing the new fenders was the best part. Make sure to peel a lead off your new tape before installing to insure a fresh adhesion.
