    Thanks for the feedback guys. I just got a 2nd gen recently some I'm looking at some different mods for it. Most of my previous trucks have had performance mods. I'm learning what all the 1gr can do and what's out there for it. Any input is welcome!

    Which version of the RCI skidplate do you have? I have one and mine fits with the center support gussets removed. I had to space mine down slightly, but that is because my driverside cat is not welded on right. No fault to the roost pipe. I just used two washers.

    I would have to see the clearance between the trans pan and skid plate. If there is a skid plate brace in the way we could modify it.

    Primary tubes are 2.25" and the merge is 2.5" or 3.0" depending on your choice.

    These definitely look really awesome. The stock y-pipe looks super restrictive around the crossover crush bend. From what I’ve been reading, the stock y-pipe and headers are the most restrictive parts of the exhaust. Any guesses on hp/tq numbers for these custom y-pipes?

    So these work with the urd headers correct? From what I’ve read they seem to be the ones that offer the most gains throughout the rpm range.

    Next up for this year is full exhaust and rear bumper...

    I have to decide on 2 1/2" or 3" exhaust.
    I want more torque and don't have a supercharger yet... So 2 1/2???

    The fact you said yet makes me think that you should just get the 3” so when you are supercharged you dont have to drop another $500

    The URD header flanges terminate at the same location as the stock exhaust manifolds. The y-pipe will work with any header/exhaust manifold that exits at the stock location.

    Most aftermarket systems are 3" whether boosted or not. 3" is the best compromise between top end flow and low end loss. 2.5" is better for low end performance at the sacrifice of top end. 3" has minimal if any low end torque loss and better mid and top end. This is even without boost.
    Over 3" for our application (boosted or not) could result in too much exhaust velocity lost below the upper rpm ranges which results in low rpm power loss. So 3" is the best compromise.

    I don’t think anyone has dyno tested before and after, but I definitely felt a difference. AND.. that was coming from a URD unequal length.
