Paging @SoCalTacoTruck, he was the one that came closest to buying it, I believe. He and I both opted to go the GFC route, I don't know who was next in line after me.

Oh yeah you’re right, feel like it’s still for sale but the ad expired. I don’t even know if I’d like the look part of the flippac but it’s way cheaper. Like to keep it simple gfc is badass but too pricey for me

The one that was for a shortbed was "custom." The one that I ALMOST bought was in pristine condition - I agreed to the sellers full price of $3,000 and he held onto it for me for 2 days (I was traveling), and the day I was going to see it some bit** offered $4,000 and he took it home.

$3,000 was a steal for that flippac. But to be fair, even at $4,000, I believe it was going under "market value." If he cared to advertise it better, say on TW, he would have fetched a lot more. That was a flippac worth driving cross country for.

Yup - I just wouldn't spend 4k on it when I could get something better for a little more. Oh well, I hope the new owner likes it!

Same thoughts exactly. Although the GFC is more expensive, it is essentially glued to your truck. Go fast is right in the name. Hope you can get that hangout space you wanted in the pop-top/cabana mode!

We'll see! I also am looking at the other option (Vagabond). The price is turning me away...I could buy a pristine Chinook for that price hahaha

The only thing holding me back from a Vagabond Drifter is the weight and the non-opening side panels. I know windoors are an option, but I like that the whole panel opens to have quick access to deep into the truck bed.

Agreed 100%. And at north of $400 per windoor and in-state tax...I'm better off with the GFC by far

it went well. Lot of puddles. I painted my truck a real sandstone that will make all the turdgens jelly.
there are some things we need to do. it does rub at full stuff. but otherwise it rides fantastic.
