    since they went with the amber bulbs instead of covers, what if we put these amber covers on the lenses?

    I ordered some to be the Guinea pig for those looking for the aesthetic look as well as the amber bulbs. They said they decided against the covers because of white light leaking through at parts.

    Anyone wanna place bets if I get the covers delivered before we get tracking numbers on the actual fogs?

    They have arrived! i'm waiting on the amber covers from which should have been delivered today but i'll update with comparison/install pics as soon as I get them.

    Amber covers? The LEDs themselves are amber, you shouldn’t need covers. Someone posted an output pic in the 3rd gen thread already. They’re very amber.

    Originally they were supposed to be amber lenses but there was an issue with light leaking. I wanted the amber lenses for the esthetic of it so I’m putting covers on them as well. Those photos from op all look like trash phone pics, I hope the output isn’t that bad.

    Huh? Sorry if I came off negative about the color of the lenses, I wasn’t disappointed with their decision because their reasoning made sense, so I figured I would try applying amber covers since that was the original appeal for a lot of people.

    Also I said I’ve never done a group by before and this post originally said 5-9 weeks so receiving them 4 months later with little info was a bit weird for me. I wasn’t the only one, but I appreciate your feedback and your willingness to go out of your way to complain about me complaining

    Make sure you have the polarity correct before you snap the leads into the H11 connectors
