I just flashed 105 91. The prompt said it was successful, but now the truck just turns over without starting. I’m repeating the process now. Any input?

 

I'm in Ohio ...... a little far for me ...... bump.

 

I think you have the correct process in place.

 

I'm stock and on 87 octane. My first impression is it does make the truck feel lighter, felt it immediately. Downshifting is much nicer, quick, as it should be without a lot of pedal input. It did down shift to 5th on a few taller over passes at 75 mph. No large hills/mountains in my area to test on. I like it. We'll get some additional miles and see if the learning degrades it.

 

I repeated the process with the same results. I’m now attempting to go back to 104r

 

May need to flash to stock file and then back to 1.05 91. Not a normal procedure for everyone, but it has happened to another member years ago.

 

I just went from1.04r to 1.05 93 - no issues. 10min idle in progress.

 

Flashed 93 ready for tomorrow

Ok, I’m not sure what I’m doing differently. I tried

i just tried to go back to 104r 91 with the same results. I haven’t tried stock. Maybe I’ll try that next.

 

Are you turning the truck off after the flash finishes

 

And does he have a 04B04 ECU?

Just flashed from 1.04R to 1.05, no issue. Truck started right up, idling now.

 

Should be if he was on 1.04r
