I think you did fine. That $798 dealer fee worries me a bit.
Unless it also includes DOC fee with title and registration.

Nope. Those were more. $700-$1000 is standard for a dealer fee in Orlando.

Then the $798 was a screw job. One dealer I visited had a $600 fee, another had a $398 fee, and the one I bought from didn't have any extra fee. There WAS a fee, but it in included documentation and 4-year registration which is mandatory in NJ.

Dealer fees always bother me. I had a toyota dealership have a 889$ dealer fee (which they discounted to 450) AND a doc fee of 829$!! Some sort of ‘electronic title’ BS!! (Here in Fl registration transfer is about 180$) I did not buy from there even though they discounted the sticker more than any other dealer.. the bottom line still was 1.5k more than elsewhere for same truck with trade negotiated

Which is why what people are posting they paid has little to do with what they actually are paying. A dealer can say "I'll sell you that truck for $32,000" and then he adds $3K in fees and jacks up the interest rate two points for another $2500. Just on the subject of finance rates you can get screwed out of another $4 or $5 thousand dollars.

Yes sir!! I like the 1.9% I got!! Think it’s a total of 850$ in interest over the term of the loan 48mo. But that’s still another 1k$ In Toyota’s pocket

    Those fees seem excessive.
    I paid
    $77 Dealers inventory tax
    $11 Deputy service fee
    $150 Document fee
    $132 license transfer
    $57 inspection and title fee
    $427 TOTAL

That's great. Now just think how screwed someone is when the dealer says "5.7% is the rate Toyota has and I can't do anything about that." Before he knows how much you want to finance and for how long, and what your credit score is. Actual statement from a dealer to me.

$27,000 financed at 1.9% for 48 months you'd pay $1,060 in interest. $585 monthly payment.
Same amount, same term at 5.7% you'd pay $3,259 in interest. $630 monthly payment.

Just traded my 2015 DCLB Sport @30,700 miles for $26k. Got a 2019 DCLB OR @36,500. Lifetime oil change. The $500 was I wanted to keep my Rims, had them put new tires on them and swap between trucks. Went ahead and financed the$10,500 at 0%. Included TTT. Oh yea, they gave me a dealership hat. A dealership is like a casino, odds are in their favor.

Now I feel I got a raw deal. Didn't get no stinkin hat.
But a Harley dealership once gave me a t shirt with the purchase of my bike.
    That counts, right?

I was kind of surprised with my credit score---856! I hate owning people money. Might have been a gimmick, but Toyota did give $500 in Holiday cash until January 2!?!?

Wow 856!!! That’s amazing!! I have a 740 and i thought that was good!! Even though i ordered the truck (delivery expected mid January) they assured me that all incentives will still apply.. TRD OR in cement with tech and bed lights 38,800msrp—-

-36,128 -500$ incentive which i think comes off after trade and tax (amount to be financed).

16,500 for my 2012 TRD DCSB sport 2wd with 80k miles

    20.5K difference with tax

    .

If I can't get a good deal on a 2019, I might wait until the 2020 when an update is rumored ?

Toyota wants 2020 to be a big year for them. Rumors of maybe Tundra and Tacoma updates and maybe a 2020 Supra too ??

In SoCal, Toyota brought back the $1500 incentive.
