Recon is like a bipolar hooker. Sometimes you get everything you want with no effort and sometimes, no matter how much you beg and plead, you feel like you got punched in the face and thrown out the back door with no money or clothes and a carrot in your ass. .... not that that has ever happened to me

 

And no matter what you’re paying for it lol

 

I never had any issues with recon, but I know a lot of folks that have. Cars have always seemed to get it the worst from what I’ve seen because the ‘bounce test’ that use(d) is horseshit.

WV’s inspection is once a year, and every shop is different. I’ve been places that will pull wheels to check disc brakes and drums, skids to check for exhaust leaks, etc.

Then I’ve been to the place I’ve gone to since 2008 when needed for cars back home (and now) that is no hassle.

I don’t have a significant problem with inspections because it SHOULD keep cars on the road safe, and assholes from running HID kits in their halogen reflector housings. California’s smog check isn’t bad either considering how bad their air uses to be, but their whole ‘referee’ process to clear a failed vehicle is unnecessarily frustrating.

 

Wheels and tires alone are not recon items as long. Must be inside the fenders at the shoulder corner of the tire

 

I got my trail gear sliders in and was planning on bolting them to the frame. It looks like its going to be a PIA bolting up the front bracket, so I was wondering if anyone welds, knows someone that welds, or can recommend a place to get them installed? Mahalo!

Yea they announced just after take off. Well that sandwich is wasted. 9 hour old PB&J not chilled.

 

i'd eat it, fast. they should be traveling with an epi-pen if not a few...

i googled a little bit, and it seems a little far-fetched...there are precautions that can be taken and unless they identify an area of where the person is sitting, and if you're outside the area, you should be fine...for the most part, food allergies have to be consumed to have an affect.

i've actually never heard of this instance prior to now...and I follow aviation related news daily.
