Ok I was worried for a second lol axle seals and bearings were included in the quote. The guy was recommended to me from a friend that has 6 sets of jeep Dana 60s built by him. And has a good yelp rating as well. So I know he knows what he is doing. Maybe I fucked something up when I installed the tundra brakes?? Not sure. They definitely felt softer after the install, to the point were I tried to bleed them again twice.

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!

I totally get what you're saying. We are definitely getting out of this shit hole in the next couple years. Wife wants to move to Texas... I'm kind of on the fence with the Texas idea. It would be good for me with work especially (Home Building Superintendent) but lack of trails and mountains is not my favorite.

Wish I could win the lottery and not have to worry about income... I'd be in Wyoming by the end of the week.

But I may have to try and talk the wife in to moving to Reno.

Should do the back wall of the cab. It was the most tinny sounding of any of the panels.

not worth it. i had their plate number. police will deal with it. besides too close to the illinois border and i was carrying. cant go in that state concealing a handgun, and they likely were heading for the border.

What a dick. I’m sorry that happened to you.

I would’ve done the same if the woman who hit me didn’t pull over. I had her plates on the front and rear dashcam.

There was nowhere to run anyway. Rush hour. You have pics of the damage?

no pics too lazy to take em. its just some stress cracks i can see. i'll pull the bumper off and check the foam under the bumper. it wasnt a hard hit. but it was a hit. (ill just use this as an excuse to do the 2011 avalon ass swap)

I always envision myself doing this but in reality it's probably not wise...you gotta figure that if someone is willing to risk a hit and run, they probably have a 'good' reason and that 'good' reason might also inspire them to do something even more stupid or dangerous to you if they see you chasing after them. Not worth it. Get their plates and let the cops deal with it.

Thanks guys. I’ve read too much on TW I guess and I’m over thinking it. I don’t know what it’s like not having to fix something on the truck, I guess I’m looking for something to break so I can fix it

Yeah, they were definitely a statement by the owner. That square look combined with the height and massive tires made them look almost cartoonish. Possibly the only offroad look with more attitude: Fred doin some crawlin

Changed my spark plugs and wires. Denso IK22 and Denso wires. I have been running IK22s. I changed them without removing the SC. Was pretty easy. I did have to remove the SC tensioner and loosen the timing belt cover to allow for enough clearance to get the wires out from under the SC nose cone. Also had to loosen and move out of the way the driver side SC bracket to allow for clearance to get to the rear driver side plug.
This is the clearance I’m talking about for the wires.

Looks like most of my spark plug tube gaskets leak some. I just changed the valve covers (came with spark plug tube gaskets installed) and gaskets about 40-50k ago and I noticed the spark plug tube gaskets were leaking last time I changed the plugs as well. Sucks. Plugs looked ok. The gaps had opened up to about 0.045 to nearly 0.06. I gapped the new plugs to 0.032.

I have an oil consumption issue I can’t figure out. I know the oil plan gasket leaks and the rear main seal is leaking too I believe. Nothing puddling on the ground though. I was thinking I might find some gunked up plugs indicating I’m burining oil. But like I said the plugs didn’t look too bad. Any ideas?
