They did well in this. Last 120 miles or so to CO in snow and ice in October.

Only time I’ve had them in the snow. They are M&S rated.

    Not enough siping to be.

It also, however, depends on the snow, powder, packed, etc.

For a tire that is also great on the trail, they’re great in the snow.

They are not a soft compound, dedicated, snow tire. That’s obvious.

Probably what I should’ve said before.

I am sure I will be fine, also going to be picking up a set of 5 New Bronze Faux Beadlocks and will probably go with ST/MAXX on those and make that set my Winter set.

    Not disagreeing.

10years ago, when I got out, and initially moved back up here, I had muds on. They did fine.
I switched to a set of Dunlop MaxxTracion(basically a duratrac).
I have not run a mud tire on my daily since.

As it is, I have ATs now, but, looking for a set of steelies for a set of muds.

Most decent tires will do fine in the snow.
It's the hardpack, and ice where the siping shines.

The video I watched to make it fit seemed like it was a little over my ability. I am not mechanically inclined, so I need bolt on basically. Hopefully this transition of building I gain the experience and comfort in modding myself. We will see when I install the bed stiffeners, that'll be the first mod that I attempt by myself. Although it doesn't look that difficult. I think getting the cap wired up will be a little more difficult. I am thinking of using the trailer harness instead of the brake light. Pros/Cons of that?

Its bolt on. Body Line under the grill wont match. I put a 12-15 bumper on my 09.

I have a to decide if my OCD is more powerful than my thriftiness. I am kind of anal about the lines and looks, but scratches and mud don't bother me. I also wont pass up a really good deal, so a 05-11 may appeal if the price and location are right. For now i'll hold out until I have the funds to get what I want. There seems to be some guys that have done everything in here, so maybe I'll be able to hit a mod day if I get in over my head.

I think with the 12+ you need to cut your factory bumper in half. Much like 3rd gens. I wouldn't want to do that either

Yep, those are the bumpers I like. I know there is a difference in the two, and that the 2.5 seems to stick out like bubba's bottom lip. Still better than any 3rd gen plate I've seen though.

I haven't done any research on RTTs. It looks like a good deal but I don't know. I guess my first question would be, is something like this 100% rain proof? Then, why sell it if there's nothing wrong with it? Could be they are going a different route, but again, why?

I do like the design though.

    It’s none of your business!

I have never once told somebody the real reason I am selling something. I make up a new reason for everyone who asks....
