Oh yea, several at my wife's station that come from Cville area.. and one guy that comes from Petersburg, VA. That's all fine and dandy and I don't blame them, but I guarantee you that drive home sucks if you had a shit night. There has been many a mornings she'd be driving home after being up all night running calls and call to talk to just stay awake on her drive home.

 

Yes, move up here to Front Royal!
It's convenient to I-66 to the city AND we are a lot closer to the off road trails

 

I really liked Front Royal last time I was out that way, I'm worried about DC developers snatching up land and building hideous blocks of randomly placed 6 story townhouses though.

 

Hahaha. The town gov't has been dead against development like that for years. Look for something up on Blue Mountain or Apple Mountain in the Linden area

That's my build thread. Have not touched it in a while caus I've been busy and haven't had much to post. Should probably update it or something.

And I'm down for tacorunnerworld. We need a petition for this.

If you decide to consider blue mountain, get with me and Ill give the actual details about living up there, as that is where I live. I know things realtors are not going to tell you.

 

The town also doesn't have the ability (read infrastructure) to support a large development. Its ALWAYS going to be small.

Do you have more info on how you did the light bar mounts? I bought a light bar for my taco and I'm trying to figure out how to mount it as well without brackets that cut out the wind deflectors

 

Morning all. Must be the holidays or something...idiots out en masse this morning.

We just took 1/8" thick 3" wide aluminum from home depot, cut it in half, then bent it to the shape we needed. Then it just attached to the crash bar using the bolts on the crash bar. I would not recommend this unless it's just temporary. My brackets broke about 10 months after install, which was fine, because I got my steel bumper around that time.
