Nope, never did that with mine. My problem was that I left my headlight switch set to 'auto' and every now and then it would decide that I didn't want my fog lights. So the headlights would turn on when it got dark but not the fogs. I'd switch them on and it'd be fine for a few weeks, then happen again.

 

Off until the 2nd after today, can't fucking wait. Also need to finish my Christmas shopping, I have most of it done though.

I was gonna go hit a few places. I decided instead to go to the Merrimack outlets there are like 300 stores there I’m pretty sure I can find a few things that I need without driving all over town. I ordered my wife a woman’s Carhartt rain defender jacket ( item number 103242) in a ladies color ,I think she’ll be happy . I will get it the day after Christmas and they waived all shipping because initially I twas going to come on Friday after

Only downside is that the model doesn’t come with it

 

It almost seems like the ECM is randomly resetting itself. I noticed the dimmer thing a few times randomly, but this morning the remote start wouldn't work either. Truck still fired up just fine with the key, but the remote start wouldn't work. I drove to work, shut it off and the remote start would start it again so I'm not sure what's going on.

 

Mine does this but no issues with dimmer. I put the fogs on and they stay auto with the headlights for a few days then they don’t come on auto eventually

I know what to get, just gotta go get it. Some gift cards for family, and a camera for my girlfriend. Then it's wrapping time!

 

It seems like every Christmas I have to find shit that I break that is my wife’s ,like kitchen things.
Likes couple of years ago I broke her Winnie the Pooh cookie jar that was hard to find.

 

Last day of work until next year... trying to get software installed.

Submit request for software through new portal...
Get approved by manager, get questioned by IT Support and they finally approve it...
Get sent an approval email to follow link for install...
Link goes to another fucking request portal to request the same software all over again, get approvals and bullshit.

It's amazing how anything gets done here.

 

No xmas gifts for wifey and I since she’s “unemployed” and we have the two kiddos to get things for. But I did make her a Shutterfly book of all the candid pics i have of her and each son/both sons to get husband of the year...

Truck hit over 20k miles today, in 10 1/2 months so I'm doing okay there.

Stopped by the house after running weekly fire pump checks at work and things are coming along nicely. Exterior will be board and batten in the end and it will get painted a dark green/black color. The shingle section that's blue is just the color they got them in, but not the finish color.

Nah, my local shop, PalmerPro. I have 2 Treks now, 1 bought when I was in the Navy, and the other from them. Literal Mom and Pop shop.

And I say get the bike, it's Christmas and you work hard, gotta enjoy it when you have time to play.
