Yeah finally got them to line up but was a two person job for sure! Finished the front a couple of hours ago and getting it alignt right now. Looks like one of the alignment bolts is seized though. The whole job was much longer than expected with rusted over bolts and having to cut the bolts off the sway bar since the hex stripped it at the beginning.

I had to put a bottle jack on top of the UCA and use it to push down because of the stiffness in the LCA. That might have been to get the assembly into position, though. Only bad part was when I bumped something wrong and the jack fell onto my side at one point.

Thanks for the tip. Looks like the culprit was frozen alignment cams. Looking to get them replace to get a better alignment. Did't realize how common of a problem this was until I searched for it.

All done. Got that lift installed. 885’s up front and Dakars in the rear. Had to cut the sway bar off but rides great without it.

    Other things I learned:

    - Alignment cam bolts need replacement
    - Top bolt of the rear shock had to be cut too, wasn’t enough at the top to hold onto with the wrench when the nut came up and the rust was holding it back.
    - It takes two to get the steering knuckle bolts back in.
    - The third bolt in the back of the front shock, if rusted is also a pain in the ass.
    - Stock equipment rusts way too quickly. Rest of the truck is fine, frame, etc.

All in all it was a good experience and stoked to have help from a friend. Happy to report no vibrations yet, but still planning on installing the ECGS bushing at some point. For me, the 885s and Dakars pair up nicely with the 265/70/17’s. Be nice to get a bit or a wider stance though. Wheels next year possibly. Will have some completed pictures once she gets a bath.

Now with a wash and wax. Put a few hundred miles on it and rides great.

Just completed my lift as well and feels better than stock for sure. Front Bilstein 5100's set at 0 w/ OME 885's finished out at 2.5 and rear Supreme AAL added 1.5 to backend. Stance is perfect! Now thinking of tires, would like to put 285's on it just not sure of the space, might be a little tight. Wheel spacers? Rims and tires? I just don't know.

Check out my build thread in my sig! I have 285's and the stance is perfect, 265's look too small in my opinion

So I just ordered the 5100/885 combo for the truck. Since I do have a PreRunner with the lack of weight from your 4x4 will this lift me 3”?
I’m wondering whether I need to spend the money on UCA’s now.

You'll probably want to. Mine is 4x4 but still not aligned the best. They aren't super expensive. Though, your truck will settle over time. These are old pics (2 yrs). I think I had 265 70 - 17's at the time. Kind of had to tell from pics but lost a lot of lift.

    Fresh off the lift.

Will the DK UCA’s be a good choice?
    EDIT:
    Purchased Dirt King UCA’s. :spending:

I’ve been trying to figure out what the aluminum piece is on top of the coil over. Spacer, custom top hat?

Looks to be 6112s and 5160s? No idea about the top hat on the coil, just a spacer I suppose

Think those center caps fit my TRD OR wheels?

With the sport wheel being 17s and the off roads being 16s, that's the only difference I can think of, there should not be any reason that would affect the size of the center cap though. :fingerscrossed:

I've seen these on several wheels. Haven't seen them on my type of wheel though.

I bed they'd fit. Worst case use a dab of silicone on the inner caps.
