    We’ll see. :D

I doubt there will be any changes except colors, prices, packages and options.

If you all go buy a new or used try to get lifetime oil change at any Toyota dealership. It's not a big deal, but convenient.

Took my 2015 down Wednesday to finish the trade by having my rims swapped over to my new truck. Dealership said it would be ready yesterday morning. I get a text that they ordered the wrong tires so waiting until sometime today. I'm thinking another HAT, to make up for it. It will be interesting to see what they put my old truck on their used lot for. I'll guess $33,500?!?!?

The lifetime oil change deal at the dealerships I've seem say you have to do ALL scheduled maintenance through them or it voids the deal. I feel like it's a money making scheme. Thoughts?

...^^^... Not a Gen Change ... just an update aka refresh like Toyota does to the Tacoma every 4 years or so.

I got $10K for my FJ on trade-in when I bought a Honda CR-V in June. I'm not that certain what they sold it for, but they put it on their lot for 14.9 and marked it "on sale' at 13.9 and it was sold right away.

I doubt there will be any real changes. This generation will probably go a decade, with a "light refresh" at next year's halfway point. Cosmetic only tweaks and re-shuffling of packages.

...^^^... My wife’s next car will probably be a CRV. I had one a few years ago and loved it.

...^^^... That’s what I have been mainly reading in the various car magazines and online. And it’s what Toyota has done in the past.

However, 2020 might be a stronger refresh than normal because of the new Ranger. I drove a Ranger in Thailand and they are pretty nice rides. I still like the Tacoma a lot better, but the Ranger has come along way.

New to the site and this is my first Toyota, so a little background.

Have been loyal Ford owners for years (20+) and our 2017 F-250 CC 4x4 Lariat powerstroke ($76k sticker) has been a nightmare; over 60 days in the shop since we bought it last March for steering related issues (look up Ford Death Wobble) and Ford refused to give any assistance, so we filed a Lemon Law suit and just won. Replacing it with a 2019 GMC 2500HD Denali since we need an HD truck for towing our trailers.

Since they were such assholes about fixing the truck and, basically, ignored our complaints, we cancelled our 2020 Ranger Lariat order, collected our deposit, sold our 2016 Fusion Titanium Hybrid (which was a great car, but needed a small truck for business reasons) and bought our 2019 Tacoma TRD OR. Dealer was great and went through Costco’s buying program. Sticker was $39,980 and got it for $35,500 including a 7/100 Toyota extended warranty.

So far happy with the truck. I have 1200 miles on the truck so far and not seeing the transmission issues, but I do hear a howl from the rear end between 45-60 or so. I doubt it’s a bad rear end, but more harmonics and proximity of the rear end to the back of the cab. The wifey says it feels like a toy because she is used to driving HD pickups for 20 years, but does like how easy it is to park. Once we get the new GMC, she will drive that.

    Sorry for the novel....

Just got an offer for 34,400+TTL for a
2019 DC TRD OR 4x4 in cement with no options other than Extra tint in the front.

    Should I pull the trigger?

Welcome!! And that sounds like a great deal!! A bit better than the one i have in the works.. but with my trade negotiationed who knows.. hope you enjoy the new taco!! And you canceled the new ranger for it??!! Good choice!! I Never buy the 1st year of a new model!! Even though they’ve sold it globally for years it’s probably full of new gremlins since they tweaked it for domestic sales!!

My deal is 36,128 before rebate on a TRD OR AT with tech pack and bed lights.. that’s 1,100$ in options.. sooo sounds about the same.. ohh but NO Dealer fee either!! I had a slightly better offer but a 999$ dealer fee they wouldn’t budge from..

Live in the Central Valley of California.

TRD Off road, 4x4, technology and towing packages, all weather floor liner/door sill protectors and a few other minor options. Just ordered a Diamondback tonneau cover and already did the Subaru tweeters and speaker upgrade.

...^^^... My guess = very unlikely to get $6,000.00 off of an OEM MSRP Factory Sticker .... that discount was probably off on an "Inflated Regional or Dealer Sticker".

I saw a dealer close to ATL giving about that amount off on a higher inflated dealer sticker.
