So I have this dilemma.
We purchased a new stove and OTR microwave from Home Depot with plans to install ourselves. I was told there's a law that dictates a certified plumber must do the gas connection. I was planning on this being a DIY to save some cash. Anyone in here have any prior experience with this or is it just plain horseshit?

 

...and where's the BLO?

 

I believe if you are paying a business to do it they need someone who is certified per State law. I hooked up our gas dryer myself because I've been trained with all sorts of gas line and I do what I want.

 

"Liquefied petroleum gas fitter" means any individual who engages in, or offers to engage in, work for the general public for compensation in work that includes the installation, repair, improvement, alterations or removal of piping, liquefied petroleum gas tanks and appliances

"Natural gas fitter provider" means any individual who engages in or offers to engage in work for the general public for compensation


Make sure you don't pay yourself.

 

So is it pretty simple to do?

 

Selling my 6 moth old Wet Okoles for $250 for the front seat covers. They have map/gun/sunglass pockets half pipe stitched with custom TRD off road logo. They are basically new as this is not my daily driver. Disclaimer: these are thick padding and extremely comfortable bot NOT for Big/Tall people . If you are over 6 foot or 275 pounds these are more than likely not something you want. Small guys relax and ride on a cushion of squish. These are for a 2013 Offroad. I think sports have different seat bottoms.

Some #RandyFab guy. It's okay, it was in the early stages of the company. They are more competent now. There's rumor that they even made tube doors, but only like 2 people have ever seen a finished product.

 

yeah, as long as you know what you're doing. If you know what you're doing it'll only take a few minutes.....But if you screw up and you end up with a gas leak that could lead to a very bad day.

 

I think that was the same guy that broke my lug nut!
