Ah ok, got the off road so it shouldn't be to hard, just run a ground to a factory grounding point like the one next to battery

I bought my 'Coma "sight unseen", more or less. Never drove one, never even sat in one. The first time I took it out, after months of just sitting in my driveway, I was pretty impressed overall... but man those brakes sucked. I don't think it's a matter of drums vs. discs. My previous ride was a Ranger that also had drums in the back and I never gave them a second thought. They were fine.

 

Good looking tires. How smooth is the ride??

 

They’re just about as smooth as the Goodyear Kevlar, small amount of noise at 30mph or so...nothing bothersome to me though. If my radio is on it’s business as usual.

I almost bought the KM3, but someone on here suggested looking at the STT Pros, these had a good rebate so I went with em! Lots of looks at the red lights, and questions at gas stations/stores. I’m wondering if I should invest in those secure lug nuts (I can’t remember the technical name lol). Oh, and they absorb hwy bumps good...they aren’t hard as concrete like the old buckshots.

 

I’m interested in the sound deadening, if you have time...many would appreciate a write up with pictures as you progress through it!

 

I considered these and the Clazzio's. Clazzio won. Yours is a good look too. Keep us up to date on the sound deadening project. Take noise measurements before and after from the same location in the truck if you can. Like drivers seat, passenger and in the back. Would love to see what the difference in sound are.

 

Where did you find a rebate for these?

 

Took more off the cab mount, since I got sold on the idea 35’s are awesome.

Drove my trailer to dmw and got it registered.

 

Didn't actually do anything to my 3rd Gen but this was on the porch when I got home today.

My armor is almost complete - not installed but almost complete.
Now if I can just find a rear plate bumper that supports the cross traffic radar and does NOT make my rear clearance worse then stock.

Looks great. When you do the sound deadening try to do the back. Floor and overhead at the same time. I wish I did.

For me it was between the Ray10, Zypher, or Vapors. The Vapors won and I put Wildpeaks on mine. What size are your wildpeaks? 315's?

 

They are 285/70r17

 

Agree on the seat colors. Why would they decide to put a light colored seat in Black interior. I will be looking at seat covers as well. I am just waiting for the Christmas rush to be over. I had too many packages lost in shipping. Nice looking interior by the way. I hope I will be able to install mine when they get here
