You're good. I'd say best practice for inspection is to got to the 10min inspection stations where all they do is inspect and don't try and make money off of repairs.

Inspection only place best for mods. True they don't care about what kind of lights, but the better ones would warn you if they don't happen to find DOT stamps on the assembly. Police CAN and DO ticket for Non-DOT, so if they felt like it, they could pull and check for the DOT. State Inspection are "safety" inspection.

Can confirm. I just had to run a wheel down to discount tire for work and it took me 30 minutes to make a normally 10-15 minute run.

Did see a built 4th gen 4runner and everyone inside waved at me so that was cool. They seemed really excited.

 

Haha awesome just had to pick up wifes new wedding band from jeweler an ran to bestbuy. Line was all the way to the back of the store.

 

Easy way to not deal with the hectic holiday season is to simply not buy anyone any gifts! We give each other so much throughout the year that Christmas tends to lose its luster by the time it rolls around. Instead we just get drunk on Christmas.

 

I like this, we usually just do small gifts but this year was different for me at least I always get crap for how much I spend on mods an not her. So I spent some all the spare cash I had on her to but things to rest. All Im getting from them is a new pair of boots which I need mine have a hole in the sole.

I swapped out my sealed beam headlights on the Cherokee for E-code capsules with standard H4 bulbs, these are not DOT approved and I never had an issue with inspections in the 5 years i had them on the Jeep. they did hover bitch about the power steering fluid that I spilled on the backside of the pump, said it leaked and they refused to follow state mandate steps to check if it was a leak. Spray off and clean power steering pump and turn lock to lock and look for signs of leakage.

So I went to autozone bought some brake cleaner and sprayed it off myself and went right back 5 minutes later. and passed of course

 

All wrapped yesterday! One slow book still coming in the mail....
