Is it possible to get these without the RRW logo like photos in first post. No disrespect. I just like the stealthy unbranded look.

Same story for me...#25, last contacted 11/29, no confirmation yet. Really glad I went with the sliders that were ready to ship with no lead time when I decided to order back in early October...:frusty:

Received mine today. Powdercoat looked good and well packed. Grade 8 hardware included. My local off road shop had a last minute cancellation today so they were able to put them on in 40 minutes ($75). Went ahead and drilled to make them rock solid.

I am pleased with the product so far.

Just got mine. No hardware. Boxes were both open, so likely dropped out en-route. Now to guess on installation process! I *think* there is a boxy thing on passenger side to remove, a few things on driver side, and I'm gonna need to go buy bolts.

Let's just give a full step-by-step with roses & thorns. First off, the order process and the pricing was excellent. RRW was prompt on answering questions and keeping me updated throughout.
I placed my order on September 28. There was a slight delay as RRW made a few well-done modifications to add gussets to the sliders, which I am happy to say look great. Things were on-track until they got the sliders back from the powder coat. RRW was unhappy with the quality of the finish so at no extra cost for me they had them stripped and re-finished by a new company. This was another good move as the finish on my sliders is perfect. Things definitely took a while to get through this change in manufacturing, so there was a lengthy delay in getting the shipment to me, having just received them today (December 20). That puts it at 12 weeks, and allowing three weeks to redo the finish and locate a suitable vendor that seems on-par with most of the other make-to-order manufacturers. Not super excited by that long of a wait, but at least mother nature blessed me and gave us a 40ºF day today for the install. Before I get to the install, though, a bit of a gripe on the use of Pilot for shipping rather than UPS or FedEx. I know UPS will ship stuff this size as I have had items larger and heavier shipped by them and never had the type of damage that you can see in the photos from my previous post. Both boxes were ripped open, taped back together, and were missing all hardware. The sliders were undamaged, which is good as these are designed to protect my truck from damage! Pilot had my sliders at the local facility on the 19th in the early afternoon, but did not contact me at all. I finally called them today and was given a delivery date of December 26. Not able to understand taking a week to deliver to me, I drove 15 minutes to the terminal and picked them up myself. So I grade Pilot an "F"; damaged product, missing product, no communication, and slower than syrup in February. I would happily pay to get a better shipping experience.
My son and I decided to install with a few bolts that we had here, then go purchase appropriate hardware to fit (M8x1.25x25 and M10x1.25x30). Sliders are pretty darn heavy! We started with passenger side, where we had to remove a cover from a harness bracket and then remove the bracket itself (a total of 4 bolts) as well as the large bolt on the bottom of the frame attached to a cross member. We sprayed the inner surface of the slider with Fluid Film, then easily lifted the slider into position. We put in the bottom bolt, then the bolts through the harness bracket. Three bolts went through the sides easily, leaving one at the very front which was too small of a hole for the bolts we bought. I'll grab that (for both sides) later and easily add them.
We then popped over to the drivers side, where we found more stuff attached to the frame which needed to be removed. A large wire-loom at the front, a bracket for the same wire loom, and two nuts attached to another module. We removed the bolt on the bracket as well as the two nuts before pushing the bracket out of the way. There were three snap fittings which hold the hard brake lines which had to be pushed through, which brings the first install gripe. In order to bolt these on to the drivers side you must use the holes where the brake line fasteners were attached, meaning the brake lines are no longer supported. I zip-tied them up, but it's not an ideal situation. If you don't do that then you cannot get any bolts in on the side on the drivers slider, so it has to be done. Since this side also has the smaller frame hole I will have to put the front-most bolt through later when I get one small enough to fit.
We tried drilling the frame to get the two extra bottom bolts through (Really required given how few bolts we could attach on the drivers side) but some demon must have ruined my bits as they are all dull :) That will be a step we do another day.

So at this point we have three M8 bolts through the side and one M10 bolt in the bottom on passenger side, and two M8 bolts through the side and one M10 bolt in the bottom drivers side. I don't think that is quite enough bolts to hold these on well long-term, so I will certainly be adding the additional side bolts as well as getting the two bottom bolts drilled and installed before I consider this completed.

The second photo shows them installed, and they look as good as I had hoped. They certainly will protect my truck on the trails we ride here, but will not protect from door dings, as they do not stick out beyond the widest point of the door. But as I did not buy them for that I do not care about that!

From the time I called the shipper to the time we were back in the house cleaned up it was four hours. That included driving to / from shipper, driving to get hardware, install, and cleanup.

Had to repack these with hardware. Seems like some of these were packed without hardware. We just finished repacking it and its schedule to get picked up tomorrow. I'll make sure Pilot picks them up tomorrow!.

Well, perhaps $30 worth of hardware didn't drop out of my boxes, perhaps they were not packed with hardware to begin with.

Still haven't posted my update on my install. But to be honest with you you're not missing out much with that hardware. I ended up going with larger bolts anyways and larger washers and maybe only used about two of the bolts in the hardware kit. Good luck with the install I ended up drilling three holes, 2 in the underside of the frame and making one of the oval holes circular on the side of the frame near the front.

Install went as planned. I will be drilling in the future but we only have a 1 car garage and the wife needs car inside so I went for it... alone!

2 jack stands, a floor jack, and some adjustable straps were my install buddy. Sliders are solid but without drilling I’m not comfortable sliding around a stump or falling on a rock.

I stood on them and can jump up and down without a budge of the slider. Wife’s happy her size 6.5 feet can easily use this as a step! Might be adding some grip tape to avoid slipping hazard.
