I accidentally bought a pair of those not even thinking to try them on.

 

this is just one of their button downs.

 

The jackets are indestructible though, I've had my sandstone one for 12 years now.

 

My carhartt jacket is 14 now, aside from the zipper breaking off and being stained and frayed it's still kicking

 

When the earth dies, all that will be left is digested corn and carhartt jackets.

 

i like techinal jackets for most stuff. I do have a 14 year old carhart long sleeve shirt

 

The older ones must be better quality. I've torn through 2 this year that I bought last November.

I'm interested to try the Duluth flex firehose pants like Brian. I used to swear by Dickies, but even they are crap now.

 

pretty much at this point i have two options, buy the cheapest stuff i can and throw it away, or buy clothing for purposes. Like most of my yard work stuff is coveralls from carhart. Most of my leisure clothing is hippy clothes (Patagonia, outdoor research, dead bird, prana, mountain hardware) and then formal/ business stuff is from that jos a banks. Ive moved toward the latter of the choices at this point in my life

 

I did find a pair of levis that are a canvas/flex material,with. Double knees that are good as daily around town light work use, but afraid of blowing them out to quickly. Primarily wear as work pants due to being dark khaki they look kind of nice w/o the boss saying no jeans

 

i wear jeans to work, i just have to have a collar on my shirt

 

I can get away with a lot at work, just no jeans.

I have a Carhartt jacket that's around 5 years old that the cuffs are blowing out where the fabric is folded over.

I can wear pretty much anything at work including shorts. My norm is jeans and either a polo or tshirt depending on if I'm in the office or on the range.

I just buy regular or loose fit Wranglers from Walmart for work. They hold up pretty well. I generally have to buy new pairs every 4-6 months. Outside of work, I just wear Wrangler cargo pants. Again, they hold up alright, and I have to replace a pair about once a year.

I've had my work clothes picked out for me for so long; I hope I can land a job that lets me wear jeans and have some flexibility when I finally rejoin the real world.

Edit: I'm with you all on those Duluth Firehose pants...I know some contractors that wear them and swear by them.
