The ARB series bumpers look really good, and are worth their premium price. It'll look so sweet on your rig. :D

    Damn.

I’ll be honest. I’ve never really looked at those bumpers very closely. I’m not surprised at all that they’re both bent, considering how they were shipped.

That’s a very weak design. It’s also weak at the giant fog light cut outs. I’m not a fan at all. Not that I think anyone cares what I’m a fan of...

From the look of these bumpers I’ve seen on trucks, without really looking at them, I would’ve expected it to be built stronger.

My bumper is a hybrid. The unsupported tube on the sides is weak too. I know I’ll bend it eventually.

    Nothing is perfect.

I came down HARD on a rock at Rausch and bent the bottom of mine (hard enough that it also bent the foremost crossmember). The bumper now has a piece of 1/4” flat plate welded across the bottom face, and vertical supports welded on the back side. The crossmember is completely rebuilt.

It all depends on what your looking to do with your rig. I'm not looking to do any hard core off roading. I'm real good with just going on green trails at Rausch creek. Your rig however is built for some serious shit.

Oh yeah, I really wasn’t trying to put your bumper down. I’m sure it’ll work for what you need it to do. I was just REALLY surprised that they both bent in transit.

And, admittedly, my own bumper didn’t come as strong as is could’ve.

I can't believe these fog lamps came all the way from Australia in just 4 days. Anyway, painted the light mounting bezel's gloss black and test fitted the fog and turn signal lights.
