The Ranger Raptor is badass. All vehicles are over priced now. The 3rd gen Tacomas are a joke too

Ranger Raptors aren't coming for a few years so says Ford? Anyway I looked at the local stealership price near me and it was 46k+TTT for the Lariat 4x4
I'll be keeping the Taco thank you very much

i dont think the ranger will be much of a threat to tacoma sales with that price tag

I really dont think its much of a threat to tacoma period. The styling is awful in the first place. terribly overpriced for quality. Every ford I've driven or owned has had awful interior rattles. Maybe im biased against them though now

The prices for the Rangers headed to the dealers around me are ridiculous. I’d buy a Tacoma Pro before I’d even consider a Ranger.

I had a 99 Ranger Splash. It lasted me about the same.

Also, you have lovely nails, Kevin.

If someone gave me a Ranger I would call a tow truck and have them take it straight to Carmax and get what I could for it.

If someone gave me a ranger, I’d probably.....

Hell, I don’t know what I’d do. I don’t think I’ve ever had to deal with being so lucky, or unlucky.

I drove one at the test drive thing they do outside the auto show when it was in town last month. Don’t get me wrong, thought it drives great (till I drove the basically Cadillac wearing truck clothes $65K F150 Platinum:bowdown:), comfortable and has a lot of stuff in it but they sure do cost a bit and the long term reliability is the question mark.

That 2.3 EB has 270 hp and 310 ft lbs of torque. That pretty impressive. Donkey stops the shit out of Toyota’s 2.7.

I expect the Ranger to be about the same in price as a similarly equipped Tacoma. In a year or so when the newness wears off you should be able to buy one cheaper than a Tacoma with discounts. I expect Ford to sell lots of them to other people.

We knew there weren't going to be any deals out of the gate. Wait a couple years until they realize they need to price them like an F150 (20% discounts).
