Anyone in here have any experience with mcneil glass fenders? I need new fenders as both of mine are damaged and I like the McNeil 2” fenders. I also want to do a snorkel as well though.

Or route my intake into the cowl

Will the McNeil be equal to trimming 2” off the stock fenders to eliminate rub?

    ...too much shit to list.
Glass is a giant PITA. I would just trim stock fenders if you can find someone that ditched their's for fiberglass. Cheaper, easier, more resilient, cleaner lines, less fuss, etcetera.
Snorkels don't line up with glass fenders either.

in Sacramento we require a disconnect in between solar and the panel on the outside of the building for this reason.

Imagine every house has solar. House at the end of the street is burning. Every house has to be disconnected manually?

Not really. The inverters have a fail safe when utility power is lost they shut down. Not to say that it couldn't happen, becuase stuff dosnt always work or installed right. But in theory it shouldn't. The disconnects is an added redundancy that SMUD requires for there own safety when they are working on it.
But yes you are correct in thinking it could happen and we will soon be faced with that as in 2020 all new homes must install solar.

Im not sure why they havnt passed something for commercial buildings yet. as with the new Mary Jane grow shops being built in CA they are large consumers of energy. Approved just in sac is is 168 permits by June of next yr, we are at 90 something right now, that's just the legal ones and most of those are 4000+amp services. that run 24/7 one was the size of 500,000 sq ft. and yet they are not required to add any solar. Now that's going green.LOL
@46 million watts a day readily available for them to consume they probably only use about half that but fuck me why do i need solar.
oh ya to pay for the pot farmers.

I will probably add a battery to my home in the near future. solar isnt an option for me as neighbors tree shads my south side most of the day and my roof is pretty small.
and starting next week new rates come out for sacramento. yey 40% increase in cost of power from 5-8 And thats a direct effect from are good friend the duck curve.
My BBQ is going to be used more and im going to become the grumpy dad yelling about lights on, lol
