I’ve done this with every cat I’ve had. My daughter calls it the “lion king” trick.
Basically a one handed cat sitting pose.
They tolerate it. Barely.

Ponce was the only one who didn’t mind it.

an old cat we had I could hold her front paws and stand her up on her back legs and the cat would just sit there and not take off. Her ears were back but I figured if she didnt like it she would take off and leave the room but she never did. She was a funny cat, we miss her...

Do you know what breed mixes she is?

She looks like a Maine Coon/Siamese Mix which left her with a Linx Point Coloring. The Maine Coon shows extra fur between her paw pads, the long tips on her ears, long fur that "mostly" is laying flat, and extra fur sweeping out of her ears. The Siamese is clearly her eyes and muzzle. Regardless of what her makeup is, she's got a nice combination for sure.

She is a Siberian purebred. At nearly 2 years old, Zoë weighs almost 11 pounds. Got her from a breeder in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Her colors in this picture are slightly washed out due to the sunlight.

 

Nothing beats a good old winter sleeping pile.
