I’m in the market for a new one. Snap-On guy never got back to me.

What to do you think of those EconoLine units? Eastwood?

Also, for dust collection. What’s the best one? I’m running a cyclonic dust separator with my shop vac. The snap-on one had their weird blower and bag type of dust collector.

Heh. We donated my grandpas huge stand alone cabinet blaster to goodwill. No one in the family had the room for it.

 

I think buying a new Tacoma would be cheaper than the media and power that thing requires to operate.

Econo line i think. Wasnt super expensive, but it was the same one we had in the body shop at school.

Edit: Not econoline. Definetly cheaper. Maybe northern tools brand.

 

I think you should take another think about building your own out of plywood.

There is nothing wrong with using wood, in fact it will be superior. Sand blasting using a metal hood produces a huge amount of static electricity. If the hood is not grounded very well, you will get static electric shocks every time you lean against the metal housing. They fucking hurt! This does not happen with a wood housing.

The mechanics are exactly the same for either. The blast gun and recovery system is the same as well.

I’ve never been shocked with my blaster before. The harbor freight unit I have is fine, I just figured I would upgrade to a higher quality unit maybe with a better dust management system.

 

Tryna decide if I like the look of the bug guard. Same color as my truck, not bad
