Low mileage 2015’s are still ridiculously expensive.

Yeah I got mine in 2016 for $34,000 out the door. Definitely worth every penny. Love that truck.

I have had zero issues pulling 4000 pounds worth of boat and trailer around with my Taco, with no trailer brakes. Have been cut off a couple times and had to brake hard, and have no complaints.

Our 2016 Volvo S60 doesn't have start-stop. It's not a big deal to me--I've driven BMW's with them for weeks at a time.

If that's the only thing keeping you from buying a Ford instead of a Tacoma, well, that's small change IMO.

I don't think you get as much truck in as nice-looking a package with the Ford, based on what I've researched on the Ford website. Maybe I'll change my mind when I see one in person. Still want an MT, though, so I don't think that will happen.

Start, stop feature on my wife’s 2018 Highlander works great. No issues! As it has been said earlier...if you don’t want to use it, switch it off. I don’t know if I would like it on a truck, of course my ‘17 TRD 4x4 Sport, 6 speed manual doesn’t have it. Can’t see how it would work with a manual tranny!

It would be tied to the brakes like normal. I drove a car in Europe that was a manual and start stop. It started as soon as you took your foot off the brake before you had a chance to hit the gas. Worked nice and smooth.

That's been my experience with my F150. The red light stop was odd at first, but I'm used to it now. YMMV
