I guess it does vary by regions. I just ran another zip code and they had a $750 cashback and a 3.9% APR for 60 mo. on 2019's.

 

In my area it’s $1000 rebate, but only if you use TFS, no promotional rates. If I could get 2.9 and the rebate I would probably pull the trigger.

That’s really low trade in for your truck. Unless something serious is wrong with it you should get 20k for that. I sold my 2009 SR5 DCLB with 104k on it for 18k 4 months ago.

 

Qualified for 3.84 from BoA but 3.39 was advertised for qualified customers. I called bank because they needed further info. I asked if I could negotiate apr. they said no. Dealer offered to match 3.39 if I went with financing through them. I said sure.

dealership dropped the ball. Didn’t get me the promised apr. I missed plane because financing wasn’t all completed on my end. I wasn’t happy but didn’t loose my cool. Finance guy emailed me saying he talked to my bank and got me the 3.39 as promised. Refunded for missed plane tickets as well.

 

I bought a TRD Sport Access Cab loaded, Super White, $32K minus $1500 rebate. I paid for most of it in cash, I financed a small amount for a credit bump.

Also, I got a 100,000 mile full warranty.

Just drove off the lot at keyes Toyota on van nuys in socal with a 2019 cavalry blue trd off-road 4x4 with tech, bed mat, sill protectors, all weather mats, silly oval running boards, mud protectors, tailgate letter fills, premium audio, trd exhaust, and some paint treatment for $34500+ ttl @ 4.9% (cause my credit sucks) msrp was 41528. I think I made out like a bandit. Sergio and Laura took care of me. I started at Costco pricing, shopped around, and made the final deal at keyes. If there’s a big incentive with financing through Toyota, just make sure there’s no restriction on paying it off early. Buy the truck and then refinance at a credit union before the first payment.

 

Sure it’s a bit of a hassle but for a couple grand it seems worth it.

 

True. I haven’t signed deal yet. I left a small deposit to ensure delivery. I know i could privately sell for more money but I’d have to get 18k to break even with tax and title differences.. KBB says 19k is fair purchase price for my truck (private seller). I’ll look into it more..

Maybe some of the explanation is he's trading it in and you sold yours privately? Dealer wants to get $3-4K profit on a trade. Maybe less if they're hosing you on the new vehicle sale price.

 

Yea Autotrader cash offer was 14.8k. So I’d have to list it privately and see. If i could get 20k it would be worth it to have another 1,500 to put down.

 

Cement off road long bed auto, stickered at 42K and change. Bought it yesterday for 37K. They gave me 10K for my 06 sport with 130 k miles and failed paint.

Maybe could have done a bit better but I'm happy enough.
