This is my first Toyota and first Tacoma. Wondering where you CCW owners store & lock your pieces in your 2019 Tacomas?

Tuffy security products makes one. They also make a metal locking lid that replaces plastic one behind the rear driver passenger seat. I have both and like them.

Consolevault would be what you want.

Won’t do much good locked in your truck. Don’t be a part time carrier

Edit: I misspoke and did another search and didn’t see anything against banks. I must’ve misremembered. Same example applies though for a courthouse or similar

Well one scenario, at least in VA, is you can’t concealed carry in banks. So having a console vault if you wanna swing by the bank while running errands, would be perfect. Don’t be so quick to judge.

I use something like this with the cable going through one of the metal loops behind the fold down back seat. Unfortunately it's not real accessible in that location. I keep extra mags in it and am usually always carrying on my hip.

I recently had to use it for my gun when I went into a courthouse where weapons weren't allowed.

2nd gen owner, but I use one of those lock boxes with a steel cable strapped around the seat frame which is bolted to the body. It slides under the back of my driver seat so its out of sight.

My work doesn't allow me to carry into the premises but allows us to keep them inside personal vehicles in the parking lot. So mine gets daily use, and has for about 4 years now with no issues.

*Edit - Just like the box posted above but with a key lock instead of a combo lock*

Always carry to the bank. Not federal property

Harbor Freight has them for under $20, but locks with a key not combination lock......I just bought three of them as gifts.

Well if state law says you can’t, I wouldn’t.

Edit: I must’ve been thinking of open carrying in a bank? It’s been years, but after a quick search it looks like there’s nothing against ccw in banks in VA. Regardless, my same example applies for other places, such as a courthouse where it may just be one stop on a route.

Where did you read that? I checked everywhere I could and couldn’t find any red to banks. Only that if it’s posted you can’t and if you do you can be asked to leave. If you don’t it’s a trespassing violation.

Disregard, I hadn’t caught up on all posts in the thread
