    Passed by the VLA (“Very Large Array”) in New Mexico today while touring for vacation-they are really big and have their own railroad wheels on their base to move the alignment on a full sized rail.

    What? The article was supposed to explain how this mysterious place was built but it just gave a lot of background, then towards the end had one sentence frim a friend who just said it was done through hard work and he wrote a book about it. Poor article IMHO.

    Not sure how accurate my google find was, but according to it, there are almost 1,900 satellites fucking around in space. Being in Guam, in the middle of the West Pacific, with nothing around us but smaller islands, leaves us with minimal light pollution to get killer clarity of the sky on most nights. We often sit and look up at night while deleting beers and see who could count the most in a 10 minute span. Record was 24. They travel in crisscross, diagonal, east and west, and north and south. Wonder if cause in closer proximity to Japan, Russia, N.K., and China. It's pretty busy up there and most are unaware.
